The Cool Boss CB-16 features three Honeycool™ evaporative media pads that efficiently absorb water. Operating on standard 110-Volt household power, the CB-16 boasts a potent 1/3 HP motor that circulates air through a capable 16" diameter Blue Flex™ fan. The proprietary axial-flow design of the fan pulls a greater volume of air at idle compared to traditional fan blade types. As rpm's increase, the fan blades subtly adjust shape, minimizing engine drag at higher rpm's, delivering optimal cost-saving performance. The built-in negative air ionizer contributes to clearing the air of airborne particles such as allergens, bacteria, viruses, and other pollutants. Variable fan speeds provide precise control over the amount of cool air delivered.
With an impressive 60-gallon cold-water reservoir, the portable CB-16 ensures an almost continuous supply of chilled air without constant refilling. Airflow is directed through a venturi fan cone, concentrating air velocity and creating a powerful, directional blast of chilled air. For targeted cooling, the CB-16L is compatible with its Ducting Kit, a simple-to-install 15 ft. long kit consisting of Flexible Reinforced Polyvinyl Duct. Despite its compact size, the CB-16 packs a robust punch, delivering an incredible 4950 CFM of air volume with a maximum coverage area of 1125 square feet
